Collection: KAMASADA

Founded during the Meiji era between 1868 and 1912, Kamasada Studio is a renowned maker of traditional Japanese handcraft: Nambu ironware. The workshop is based in Iwate Prefecture, is led by third-generation master craftsman and cast-iron forger Nobohu Miya. Kamasada products combines traditional Nambu techniques with contemporary designs, ranging from classic cast iron teapots and tableware to home accessories and ornaments. Nobuho Miya’s work has been exhibited around the world, including at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in NYC.
