Designed in 1958, Received the "Good Design Award" in 1993 and the "Long Life Design Award" in 2004. This popular Hirachawan is a masterpiece by Masahiro Mori, who was a representative product designer in Japan, as well as an in-house designer at Hakusan pottery.
This bowl is slightly shallow and has a wide mouth. It’s very light to hold with rich variation in patterns. Masahiro Mori said that "everyday pottery is the most important pottery". He made this pottery so that "the inside of the bowl can be seen widely and enjoyed". From rice bowls to small bowls for salad, fruit, soup, pickled, the uses are endless and it will be perfect for your everyday dining table.
